Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for driving and facilitating Continuous Improvement within The Park Operations, coaching and influencing employees at all levels whilst implementing and sustaining a Lean culture within Operations
- Influence the organisation to be increasingly ‘lean’ through improved policy deployment, problem solving, value stream thinking and workplace organisation
- Produce measurable operational productivity gains and alignment with yearly budget plans and Lean Enterprise objectives
- Focus site leadership and employee teams on assessment, planning, actions and measurement, by employing tools and methodologies that drive the elimination of waste and reduce variability
- Implement train-the-trainer approach and rapid, sustained implementation through learn-by-doing methods
- Ensure increased participation in 5S across the site, in centres of excellence move improvements to focus on facilitating better process performance and consequently wastage elimination
- Work to involve everyone in the pursuit of sustained beneficial change
- Identify opportunities to implement common processes and best practices from other sites and businesses; disseminates and acts upon relevant industry and company benchmarking data
The Ideal Candidate
- Extensive experience of Lean implementation in manufacturing operations, with strong demonstrable knowledge of Lean Production Tools
- Lean Sigma Black Belt, Lean Coach or equivalent qualification, ie. Post Graduate study in Business Improvement Methodologies, particularly Lean or Six Sigma
- Use the DMAIC and IDOV(E) methodologies to structure improvement projects
- Bring the Lean Principles and company values to life in your work
- Outstanding communication, leadership and coaching skills
- Take the initiative to problem solve, challenge & improve to deliver the agreed targets
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Professional approach, demonstrating flexibility and ownership
- Solutions focused and self motivated
Package Description
Salary: £55,000 - £58,500 pa plus car allowance

Work Pattern: Monday – Friday, 36.25 hours per week
About the Company
‘The Park’ is a multi-award winning bottling facility, employing over 400 people and producing 25 million 9L case equivalents of wine each year. Our state of the art and highly mechanised manufacturing and blending plant has six packaging lines and the capacity to produce 1,200 bottles of wine every minute. The Park is also home to the largest wine warehouse and distribution centre in Europe (80,000m²) with the largest fleet of reach truck Automated Guided Vehicles in the World!
Encirc, entered into a deal with Accolade Wines, one of the world’s leading premium wine producers, and purchased the assets of “The Park” bottling and warehousing facility in Bristol on 1 February 2023.
