On behalf of ENCIRC, Adecco are recruiting for a Customs Administrator to join the ever-growing, highly successful manufacturing plant in Derrylin, Co Fermanagh
Main Responsibility
Process a variety of import and export customs entries on specialist software to enable the smooth movement of our finished goods and raw materials at Encirc
Prepare and collate supporting documents for these entries from a number of sources
Co-ordinate with Hauliers, HMG and Revenue to ensure pre-boarding and Safety & Security notifications are all in place as required
Issuing and closing of Transit Documents
Working with Purchasing and Goods-In to ensure timely and accurate recording of imports and arrivals at site
Obtain supporting documents and schedules from suppliers as required
Respond to queries from Border or Customs Control
Maintain daily customs schedules to prepare HRMC returns
Assist with monthly reports and returns to government bodies
Ensure Company, HMG and Revenue procedures are followed and escalate any concerns
Continue to develop knowledge on customs requirements, by attending training courses, ensuring new regulations are understood and implemented as required
The Ideal Candidate
Business Knowledge
- Previous Customs Clearance experience an advantage
- Previous exposure working in a customer service or finance position beneficial
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience of working with ERP packages
Essential Functional / Technical Skills
- Strong IT skills & proficiency on Excel
- Excellent analytical
- Ability to work in a virtual team environment
Package Description
Salary: £25,000-£27,000+ Discretionary Bonus
Fixed Term Contract - 12 months
