Job Introduction
Glass Quality Manager | Elton | Permanent | £75,000 - £85,000
As Glass Quality Manager you will assure the quality of output from two of the largest container furnaces in the world, producing approximately 1700t or 6M bottles every day, you'll use risk assessment methodology (both formal and informal) to arrive at key customer supply decisions from a quality perspective as well as lead the team of 12 SMEs to enhance the quality of the process, and deliver continually improving projects to enhance the consistency, repeatability and quality of plant output
You'll liaise with key customers on development programs as part of a partnership approach. This will include problem resolution, process development & way of working initiatives and develop relationship management with all customers supplied by Elton; work collaboratively with key customers to resolve difficult supply quality issues, or to enhance an already strong quality supply

- Glass manufacturing & inspection techniques - essential
- Detailed knowledge of container glass forming - essential
- Quality / Technical Leadership within a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Quality Control methodology, sampling plans, statistical analysis & control of non-conforming product processes
