Hot End Process Engineer| Permanent| £62,000 - £68,000

As Hot End Process Engineer, you will be a dynamic and experienced Process Engineer who is highly skilled and motivated.

The successful candidate will join a team at the heart of our Hot End glass manufacturing process as part of a succession plan.  They will be responsible for optimising and improving manufacturing processes to ensure the highest quality and efficiency in glass container production. The role will involve collaboration between operations, engineering and quality functions in order to implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the facility. This role offers the opportunity to drive effective hot end operations through process improvements and data analytics, and will be responsible for ensuring the appropriate utilisation of advanced glass forming technologies, including but not limited to Gob Scan, Sevron, HEYE/PPC, and X-Par. 

The Key Requirements 
  • Level 4 Engineering qualification - mechanical/electrical and/or extensive experience in HE and Forming processes
  • Extensive experience within a high-speed manufacturing environment - glass industry beneficial
  • Proven record of people management, with evidence of building, managing and motivating successful teams on a large scale.
  • Technical aptitude/experience. I.e., the ability to logically diagnose processes, machine problem areas.

Hours - Monday- Thursday 07:00-15:45, Friday 07:00-15:15
