Job Introduction
We have some secondment opportunities as IS Operators available within the Glass department starting in September.
The main purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth running operation of the IS Machine in the Glass department including but not limited to:
Reporting into the Shift Manager you will :
Comply with all Health & Safety and Environmental Policies
Carry out all tasks relevant to IS machine operation
Regularly check bottle sets for defects and potential defects including gauging.
Detect any defects in the glass and rectify using best practices.
Report promptly to line controller and supervision any potential or suspected quality defects
Monitor Radar systems and action any process changes.
Monitor swab robot performance and ensure lubrication product and cleaning materials are readily available
Maintain maximum production efficiency and minimum down time.
Ensure an adequate handover to next operator is complete at shift change.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for self-motivated individuals to join a brilliant team. The ideal candidate will have some production or manufacturing experience and be willing to work various shifts. Must be available for initial training period of 8 weeks from September.

Work Hours: During 8 weeks training: Mon-Thurs 7-4 Fri 7-13.45 then 12 hour shifts days and nights
