Operations Manager | Permanent | Elton | Competitive Salary
As Operations Manager your main responsibility will be to lead our 24/7 manufacturing operation, delivering world class quality to our customers whilst achieving agreed business objectives. You will develop the operational team whilst embedding a culture of safety, continuous improvement and engagement.
The Key Requirements
- Engineering Degree - Masters level in operations desirable
- Glass manufacturing experience is essential
- Experience leading a multi-functional teams within a 24/7 operation to deliver the business KPIs & plans
- In-depth understanding of the factors involved in operating a high-volume manufacturing process within a multidisciplinary environment
- A working knowledge of operational excellence tools & management processes within a manufacturing environment (e.g. TPS, TPM, Six-Sigma.)
- Significant experience in budgetary management & high degree of commercial understanding of Operations including managing Capital budgets
- Experience of establishing & fostering a culture of team work, continuous professional development, inclusion & high performance to enable team members to meet their potential & perform at their best.
