Job Introduction

PROCUREMENT ASSISTANT | PERMANENT | £27,000 - £29,000

The Procurement Assistant role contributes to achieving key procurement business objectives by providing timely and valuable support to the Indirect Procurement Manager and Indirect Senior Buyers. It aids the procurement function in ensuring compliance with Encirc policies, enhancing internal cross-functional relationships at the Elton and Bristol manufacturing sites, and advising stakeholders on appropriate actions. 

Encirc operates across multiple locations, including Elton, Bristol, and Derrylin (Northern Ireland), and some travel between these sites may be required ,.

The Key Requirements 

  • Strong computer skills – MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Previous procurement experience in a junior role
  • Good analytical skills
  • Commercially astute
  • Commercial acumen
  • SAP experience desirable 

The Park is a multi-award-winning bottling facility, employing over four hundred individuals and producing twenty-five million 9L case equivalents of wine annually. Our state-of-the-art, highly mechanized manufacturing and blending plant features six packaging lines, with the capability to produce 1,200 bottles of wine per minute. Additionally, The Park boasts the largest wine warehouse and distribution centre in Europe, spanning 80,000m², and houses the world's largest fleet of reach truck Automated Guided Vehicles.
