Job Introduction
Quality Technologist | Elton | Permanent | £35,000- £41,000
The Quality Technologist will bring continual quality compliance and improvement through implementation of the quality system, to ensure the highest food safety, quality, and compliance standards. Using detailed data analysis, overseeing the SNCRs, NCRs & internal audits system. Preparing customer quality reports and ensuring only product fit for sale is released to trade.
Working closely with the Beverages QA department to implement standards centrally, and support the internal audit program by conducting routine inspections and audits to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
The Key Requirements
- Experience working in a food industry environment, with some experience and awareness of packaging technologies.
- Internal auditor BSI ISO9001 an advantage.
- Knowledge of industry legislation and standards (wine, beer and soft drinks).
- Food Safety and Quality Systems / BRC/ISF/ISO/HACCP an advantage
- Principles of Quality Management
- Management Information Systems
- Technical attitude and awareness – ability to logically diagnose technical issues
- Computer skills – MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
