Job Introduction
SENIOR BUYER (INTERNAL CANDIDATES ONLY) | 6 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT | CAN BE BASED AT BRISTOL, DERRYLIN OR ELTON
As Senior Buyer, you will manager suppliers across a range of indirect categories to ensure they have the capacity, capability, and flexibility to support the Encirc beverages operations. You will create and deliver effective sourcing plans to drive out costs and deliver value, ensuring supply chain security.
Working alongside the Indirect Procurement Manager, you will use your previous experience to ensure category strategies are aligned to total category and group purchasing objectives.
The Key Requirements
- Degree level or professional qualification preferably in procurement / supply chain
- Experience in manufacturing operations, ideally across direct and indirect categories
- Proven negotiation skills and assertiveness to secure contracts that deliver value and ensure contractual and service commitments are achieved.
