Job Introduction
SHIFT ELECTRICIAN (INTERNAL CANDIDATES ONLY) | PERMANENT | DERRYLIN | £58,000-£60,500
The Shift Electrician will provide electrical maintenance, repairs and fault finding on plant equipment to minimise production down time development and improvement of existing plant equipment and systems
The Key Requirements
- Experience of working within a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to prioritise maintenance tasks based on production requirements
- Minimum apprentice time served in electrical discipline to include NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Knowledge of servo motors, PLC’s & variable speed drivers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read schematics & other technical documents
- Experience with 3 phase motors, variable speed drivers, PLC control, LV/MV switchgear instrumentation and fault finding on automated production equipment.
- Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
