Job Introduction

Shift Manager | Permanent| £57,250 - £59,250

As Shift Manager, you will  monitor and optimise performance of site and personnel to ensure shift production is delivered in line with customer expectations, requirements and Encirc quality standards. You will ensure hand over is controlled and maintain performance for the duration of the shift , you will be able to communicate effectively within the shift and between shifts to enable accurate reporting of major events and requirements to the production manager, the following shift and the morning meeting.

As our next Shift Manager, you’ll be responsible be responsible for site operations and related support functions in terms of health & safety, people, quality, production efficiency and costs, for the duration of the shift. 

The Key Requirements 

  • Background in team leadership roles within FMCG environment (multi departments, manufacturing processes, etc.)
  • People management & coaching skills – ability to identify and develop team members, set expectations, provide follow ups & make day-to-day decisions 
  • Ability to develop & maintain good working relationship with colleagues at all levels
  • Proven record in people performance management with evidence of building, managing & motivating successful teams on a large scale, shift working operation
