Job Introduction
SHIFT MANAGER | PERMANENT | ELTON | £61,129.56 + 20% Bonus
39 Hrs per week - Shifts - 4 on 4 off, 7 - 7, 12 hours - after 7 rotations, 18 days off
The Shift Manager, will be responsible for site operations and related support functions in terms of Health & Safety, people, quality, production efficiency and costs, for the duration of the shift.
The Key Requirements
Glass manufacturing knowledge is essential
Engineering qualification or degree is desirable but not essential
Background in team leadership roles within FMCG environment (multi departments, manufacturing processes etc..)
Experience managing a high volume manufacturing process including both production lines & people where quality/consistency was critical
Production improvement working experience
Proven record in people performance management with evidence of building, managing & motivating successful teams on a large scale, shift working operation
