Shift Manager

Job Introduction

SHIFT MANAGER  | PERMANENT | ELTON | £61,129.56 + 20% Bonus

39 Hrs per week  - Shifts - 4 on 4 off, 7 - 7, 12 hours - after 7 rotations, 18 days off

The Shift Manager, will be responsible for site operations and related support functions in terms of Health & Safety, people, quality, production efficiency and costs, for the duration of the shift.

The Key Requirements 

  • Glass manufacturing knowledge is essential

  • Engineering qualification or degree is desirable but not essential

  • Background in team leadership roles within FMCG environment (multi departments, manufacturing processes etc..)

  • Experience managing a high volume manufacturing process including both production lines & people where quality/consistency was critical

  • Production improvement working experience

  • Proven record in people performance management with evidence of building, managing & motivating successful teams on a large scale, shift working operation
