On behalf of ENCIRC, Adecco are recruiting for a STOCK CONTROLLER

This role will provide stock and management reports on accuracy and efficiency of Beverages stocks in the Elton automated warehouse and other Elton stock locations. 

 

Main Responsibility

  • Run and maintain daily filled stock reconciliation report for Elton Warehouse between AS400 and Autostore. Example reconciliation items: quantity, RES code, status and pallet differences, production date mismatches etc 

  • Reconcile and resolve any differences in stock between systems  

  • Communicate and work with Elton production teams and Duty Compliance team to resolve any stock issues 

  • Perform physical stock checks on pallets as and when required 

  • Communicate with sales quality teams to ensure accuracy of stock availability 

  • Manage dry goods issues – ghost pallets, rejected dry goods, inaccurate shrink wrapped stock, return of FL label stock in a timely fashion etc 

  • Manage glass stocks filled by Beverages – SICK reader issues etc 

  • Manage quality status stock – HL/SC etc and ensure priority pallets identified, SC pallets scrapped etc 

  • Ensuring processes are in place and adhered to at all times 

  • Trend data to identify opportunities for improvements 

  • Establish root cause and work collectively to identify long term resolutions 

  • Perform the necessary administrative tasks to correct errors in operational processing of our finished product and ensure that the relevant departments are informed. I.e. accounts, sales, customers etc. 

  • Complete all necessary correctional work using the recognised IT systems 

  • Any other stock control processes as the business needs

The Ideal Candidate

Essential Functional / Technical Skills 

  • Computer literate – Essential 

  • Previous experience working with large volumes 

  • Inventory experience 

  • Previous experience of AS400 or similar warehouse management system 

  • Autostore experience desirable but not essential 

  • Knowledge and previous experience in high-pressure Logistics environments within the food, drinks or packaging environments 

  • Understanding of the Warehouse & Distribution industry 

Package Description

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Work Pattern: Monday - Thursday 08:00-17:00, Friday 08:00-14.30
