Talent and Organisational Development Coordinator- INTERNAL ONLY

Role Responsibility

  • To act as TOD first point of contact for Derrylin – developing and maintaining effective relationships
  • Ensure alignment, consultation and collaboration with local HR team
  • Support Head of HR Operations on 25 Years in business project
  • Derrylin point of contact for charity work / local community initiatives
  • Derrylin lead on Top 100 employer project including socialisation and encouraging participation of GPTW employee engagement survey
  • Support WIM committee as requested
  • Derrylin lead on Culture and Values – supporting values initiatives and Pioneer activities in Derrylin (and Elton where required), including delivery of values awareness sessions with new starters or at request
  • Onboarding support – support with pastoral care for new starters, check ins with managers re; progress of new starters, liaising with Go to Gurus and point of contact for new starters re development needs. Management of Onboarding app Talmundo for Derrylin site
  • Social media content management on workplace app for Learning, Pioneers and Wellbeing
  • Conference and other event management coordination support
  • Workshop facilitation e.g. employee engagement, values, pioneers, wellbeing
  • Management and rollout of health and wellbeing calendar – monthly umbrella topics, sub-topics, signposting information
  • Sourcing local health specialists and coordinating visits as planned in H&W calendar
  • Healthwork's H&W days support with marketing and participation
  • GRIT updates and alignment with values and engagement projects
  • Communication – work closely with stakeholder engagement manager to support with rollout of Derrylin comm's around key projects e.g. values, engagement, wellbeing, HOCAM
  • Support with gym governance 
 

The Ideal Candidate

 Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Proven ability of positive and constructive relationship management at various levels. Experience of working in a fast paced, rapidly changing and challenging environment.
  • Professional in approach, and able to lead by example.
  • Able to operate sensitively in difficult situations and confidently communicate effectively at all levels of the business
  • Able to prioritise key tasks & work under pressure.
  • Committed to learning and self-development – evidence of continuous professional development
  • To be able to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders to problem solve and apply critical thinking skills in order to provide solutions

 

Essential Functional / Technical Skills

 

  • Great communication skills; to influence and develop positive relationships across all levels of the business
  • Ability to work as part of a team and works proactively under own initiative. Enthusiastic with a positive outlook, energised by challenges and solution focused
  • Fully proficient at Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook (Microsoft Office)

 

Package Description

Salary: £27, 500 plus discretionary bonus of 5%

Working Hours: Mon-Thurs 8-5 Fri 8-2.30
