TRANSPORT SPECIALIST| PERMANENT | DERRYLIN| £34,000-38,000
Encirc Logistics support production with a fleet of trucks completing the in-bound Logistics of Raw Materials, Delivery of Finished Goods and the Transfer of Finished Goods to off site storage locations in Ireland and GB
The main purpose of the role is to liaise with Batch & Furnace regarding in-bound Raw Materials requirements and provide sufficient transport, using Own Fleet and Third Party Hauliers to ensure production requirements are met. The Transport Specialist will also be responsible in assisting with the management of the Driver Team ensuring efficient use of Own Fleet to both Raw Materials and Finished Goods to meet business requirements
The role will also encompass O Licence and Health & Safety Compliance
Cost Analysis and Budgeting are also an essential element of the role
The Key Requirements
- Degree qualification in a relevant discipline essential
- Transport Manager’s CPC or be working towards
- Knowledge & previous experience in Logistics within FMCG Industry
- Experience in managing and maintaining a fleet of heavy goods vehicles and other vehicles production and warehouse support vehicles and trailers and FLT’s
- Ability to demonstrate personal success in the achievement of challenging business targets
- Previous Supervisory Experience
- Experience of working in a high-pressure environment
- Microsoft Office Proficient (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Working Hours- Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-2.30pm 38.75 hrs
