Continuous Improvement Specialist | Permanent | Dual Site- Bristol, Elton | £46,000- £52,000
We’re looking for a Continuous Improvement (CI) Specialist to play a pivotal role in strengthening our organisation’s capability and accelerating performance across our operational teams. This is a dual-site role, working across both Bristol and Elton, where you will be actively involved in driving CI initiatives at each location.
In this key role, you will champion continuous improvement initiatives, steering the plant’s KPIs through our business scorecard to achieve—and exceed—ambitious targets.
Working closely with the CI Manager and wider Operations team, you will help embed sustainable, “World Class” standards, ensuring that CI capability is developed across all areas of the plant. You will energise and engage colleagues at every level, highlighting the value of continuous improvement and its impact on our collective success.
As a core member of the CI team, you will lead and support change programmes aligned with our strategic goals, driving best practices, delivering key projects, and celebrating successes across the business.
This role is a multi site role supporting the Beverages facilities in Elton and Bristol. A primary focus will be to optimise the use of the Line-View system ensuring consistency across both sites. Therefore experience in the use of Line-View or similar packages will be essential.
Regular travel and overnight stays between Elton and Bristol will be required.
The Key Requirements
- Experience in delivery of Continuous Improvement methodologies including- Lean methodologies / tools
- Experience in the use of Line-View or similar packages is essential
- Project management skills and ability to effectively support multiple projects within budget and specified timelines
- Significant experience monitoring, challenging and improving OEE
- Relevant manufacturing / technical experience
- Practitioner of Lean / Six Sigma desirable
- Experience in a Food & Beverage FMCG or similar manufacturing environment
- Proven problem solving & change management skills
- Strong leadership, networking and communication skills
- The ability to identify improvement opportunities and translate these into deliverable results
