Job Introduction
DESPATCH CHARGEHAND | SECONDMENT UNTIL FEB 2025 | INTERNAL ONLY | £42,000 - £45,000
As Despatch Chargehand you will report into the Despatch Shift Manager within the Warehouse Operations Team. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe working of all staff in the despatch yard, overseeing the accurate and timely loading / unloading of trailers and containers. Ensuring all activities are completed in line with the relevant quality standards and feedback processes are used to report and act on any issues encountered during operation.
The Key Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution centre
- FLT or Shunter licence
- Previous role as supervisor or manager in warehouse or distribution centre
