Electrician

Job Introduction

Electrician  | Derrylin, Co Fermanagh | Permanent | £49,094.88

As our Electrician you will be responsible for Electrical maintenance, repairs and fault finding on plant equipment to minimise production down time; development and improvement of existing plant equipment and systems.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 06:00/08:00 – 15:00/17:00, Friday 06:00/08:00 – 13:15/15:15 flexibility required regarding hours. The successful candidate will be required to start work at 6am when not starting at 6am the start time is 8am.  You also will be required on occasion to cover our 12 hour shift rota which can include night shift. 7pm-7am.  A shift allowance will be paid when working these hours.


The Key Requirements 

  • Experience of working within a fast paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to prioritise maintenance tasks based on production requirements
  • Minimum apprentice time served in electrical discipline to include NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Knowledge of servo motors, PLCs & variable speed drives
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read schematics & other technical documents
  • Experience with 3 phase motors, variable speed drives, PLC control, LV/MV switchgear instrumentation and fault finding an automated production equipment
